Roger Croll
This is Roger’s first involvement in partisan politics. He has, however, become increasingly concerned with the state of the world that his children and grandchildren will inherit. Offering himself as the local Green Party candidate represents a concrete action that he could take to change the future for the better.
Roger was trained as a biologist with a graduate degree from McGill University but is now retired from academic research and teaching. He remains active with the HRM Lakewatchers program to monitor local water quality. Roger has lived in Nova Scotia for over 40 years and in Hammonds Plains for the last 15 years.
His leisure time is largely occupied by his family (particularly his wife and grandchildren), beekeeping, gardening and paddleboarding and swimming in a nearby lake. He is especially gratefully for the ability to engage in such activities in Nova Scotia and wants to preserve our way-of-life for the future.
