Sheila G. Richardson currently works for We Care Home Health Care and At Home Home Care. She provides Home Support to seniors and enables them to stay in their own home. Sheila lives in Wolfville, Nova Scotia and she boards International students from Acadia University and Horton High School. She has her own business: Rainbow Stitches and is a casual vendor at Wolfville Farmers Market.
Sheila obtained a Masters in Education from Dalhousie University in 2004. She has been working on a Masters in Divinity at Acadia Divinity College and Atlantic School of Theology, and has been a teacher, both elementary and secondary schools in Northern Ireland and England. In Canada, Sheila has been an Adult Educator, Mediator, Conflict Resolution and Counsellor.
Sheila leads Dances of Universal Peace. She loves to dance Contra Dance, swim, sew, read, garden and walk.
Sheila has two children: Christopher John Young and Sarah Gemma Dodge. Christopher is married to Aisling Porter and has two children: Maeve, 2, and Harry, 5 months. Sarah is married to Dana Dodge and they have two children: Gemma 6, and Meah, 3. Both families live in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Sheila is hoping to spend Mother’s Day, 2017, in Wolfville, with her daughter and two grand children, Gemma and Meah and their other grand mother, Karen. Sheila hopes to leave a better place for her grand children.
