Jenn Kang is a 34-year-old human with a long history of community involvement, pastoral care, and local activism in the many rural areas she has called home.
She is thrilled to be able to offer the electors of Hants East the opportunity to vote provincially for the Green Party for the first time in eight years – possibly for the first time in their lives.
She lives in neighbouring West Hants County in a rustic home in St. Croix, and looks forward to getting to know the residents of Hants East better in the days to come. She is eager to hear their concerns and to brainstorm potential solutions.
Jenn was a live-in caregiver with L’Arche Cape Breton in Orangedale from 2010-2012 and witnessed first-hand the difficulty of retaining physicians in isolated areas if they do not form strong ties with the community.
She is a lifelong learner and compassionate listener who loves to sing, yearns for Universal Design, appreciates the Oxford comma, and enjoys walking in the woods with dogs.
